Q: How do I access Online Banking?
A: After your First National checking application has been approved, you should be able to log-in within two business days by clicking the word "Login" on the left of each Web page.  If you have having problems or have any questions, the Customer Service Representative at your local branch would be happy to help you.


Q: How frequently is my First National information updated?
A: First National updates all customer information nightly. Account information is updated each banking day by 3 AM EST the next morning. This information includes all transactions initiated before 5 PM EST via On-Call™ Telephone Banking or at any of our branch locations, before 2 pm EST at any ATM, and before 5 PM EST in First National Online Internet Banking.


Q: Can I look at all of my transactions at any time?
A: Yes, with First National Online, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the Internet.


Q: How long does it take to set up a new payee in the bill payment system?
A: Once you have entered a new payee into the First National Online Bill Payment System, it may take up to three business days to set up the payee to receive payments.


Q: After I make a bill payment, how long does it take for the money to be debited from my account?
A: The money will be debited electronically from your account within 1-3 business days starting on the business day following the payment date. If you make a payment on Monday, you can expect the money to be debited from your account by Wednesday or Thursday of the same week.


Q: How long does it take for a payment to reach the payee?
A: A payment that generates an ACH payment will credit the payee's account within 1-3 business days; whereas, a paper check will take up to 10 days.


Q: How do I actually use the Electronic Bill Payment System?
A: To sign up for Bill Pay, simply click the Bill Payment icon and then on the link that reads "Click here to sign up for Bill Payment" or fill out an application at any of our branches.
